Hello, I'm Iris! I come from a Japanese family but was born and raised in Brazil. When I was 19, I took a break from college and decided to challenge myself by living abroad in the USA. I participated in a Work & Travel program and worked in the Hospitality field in California. I fell in love with the country and returned after graduating college in 2004 for an Internship Program. I ended up living in North Carolina and South Carolina for a year before moving to Boynton Beach to work at a Country Club in Boca Raton. In 2006, while living in Lake Worth and working at a different Country Club in Wellington, I met Leo and we became great friends. We got married in 2008, making Palm Beach our permanent home. We initially rented a place in Boynton Beach and eventually bought our first house there. I worked full-time in Hospitality until our children Mark and Lucas were born. After that, I decided to focus on raising them. We enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors, particularly at parks and the beach, which is my favorite place in the world.
In 2019, I decided to get my insurance license and started working alongside Leo. In 2022, we had the opportunity to open Leo Hurtado State Farm in Boynton Beach with the mission of helping our neighbors protect what is valuable to them. With my background in customer service and multicultural upbringing, I understand the challenges foreigners face in understanding their insurance coverage. I can assist customers in English, Portuguese, or Spanish. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent care to our customers, addressing their questions and requests promptly.

Hi! My name is Eliana Toribio. I was born in New York and moved to Florida in 1997 at the age of 7. I received my Associates Degree in Communications in 2012. I have been working for State Farm since August of 2013. I started as a front desk receptionist and worked my way into a licensed agent. I am fluent in English and Spanish.
Being a team member has allowed me to not only learn the importance of insurance and in understanding insurance, but to also spread the knowledge I have learned and continue to learn to build trusting relationships with our customers.
I truly enjoy knowing that I have helped so many people throughout my years working with State Farm, whether it be in savings or in simply helping them understand their policy(s).

Hello my name is John Hurtado, I am originally from Colombia, and I have lived in Palm Beach County Florida since 1994 when I immigrated to the US with my mother and brother. My mother’s work ethic and dedication taught me the value of hard work and molded me to seek emulate much of that work ethic.
I enjoy helping others and working for Leo Hurtado’s State farm was something I did not imagine would enable me help people protect what is important to them. I have been a team member at Leo Hurtado’s State Farm office at 2309 Woolbright Rd Suite 3 Boynton Beach Florida, since January of 2022.
Helping others find options to their everyday problems is something that I truly enjoy. Being a team member with State Farm provides me with a great opportunity to work for an amazing company that is focused on helping people in their community resolve one of their most important necessities.
Family is my biggest driving force in almost all the decisions that I make; I started this career with the hope of helping others find the proper insurance to protect their loved ones, themselves, and their assets.
My quest for knowledge in every aspect of my career will help improve in each area of insurance through hands on training and continuing education.
